In Devon, estimates indicate that more than 12,000 people will have dementia rising to more than 17,000 in 2021. The action plan for Devon aims to narrow the gap between the recorded and the currently estimated prevalence of dementia by at least 25% in the next 5 years. The action plan addresses the National Strategy objectives and gives details as to how they will be met.
