- a series of dementia workbooks within a three stepped pathway and small bite sized learning presentations for both learners and those sharing learning with others in teaching or supervisory roles

New South West Learning4Health platform
NHS South West have commissioned the development of a virtual learning platform provided by a consortium of Tribal Consulting Limited together with King’s College London and Skills for Health.
This new platform will offer a range of learning across various care pathways including dementia.

Dementia Competency Framework
The dementia competency framework suppports staff to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high quality dementia care. It distinguishes the different competencies needed across three steps from basic awareness to specialist knowledge and skills. Find out more.
A guide for transforming the dementia workforce
This guide will support commissioners to have an informed dialogue with provider organisations and understand workforce planning and development issues that may impact staff working with people with dementia and their carers and families. Find out more.
Regional Dementia workforce network
We have established a regional network for workforce leads in dementia care. This network is open to people with an interest in dementia workforce development. Find out more about the network and access agendas, notes and presentations from meetings.
Qualifications in dementia care
Skills for Care have published a range of dementia qualifications in September as part of the Qualification and Credits Framework (QCF). Specific dementia qualifications have been developed at level 2 and 3 for continuing professional development (CPD). Find out more.
